DevLog #5: Alpha Build Go!


Greetings! Next week is Playtest Week, so we've been working hard to finish up the final boss level of Odds and Deep Ends. We figured with this out of the way, the most difficult stage would be complete. Lexi's the one handling most of the Fungus-side of things now while I work on the assets. I'm wondering if we should've started with a simpler level; but the more I think about it the more upsides I see to getting the most difficult task done first. Once the timeline and all of it's branches are complete, it'll help us to better understand how to build levels 1-4.  We're hoping to have more customizable buttons for the player's choices (such as placing them in different areas of the screen, cosmetic changes, ect) but so far we haven't found a way to do that. 

Other than that, it's been smooth sailing! The classroom is very warm and it's making me sleepy, which I guess is the other big obstacle.
