Devlog #3: Sprites and Dialogue


Hi everyone, Alexiss here! For this dev log I wanted to show some updated character sprites as well as go into detail about our whitebox demo for our boss level. Attached are 3 sprite sheets for Clementine, Eelena, and DJ Blobert. Kieran's handling the palettes for each so beautiful coloring to come in the next post! Below is a sample of the palette we chose for our lovely and adorable main character Clementine.

Alongside the sprites I've been placing the characters into Fungus and adding some placeholder dialogue to get a general idea of their conversations. Kieran has also developed a script in Celtx to import into the flowchart function in Unity. The last major hurdle for our white box is to figure out how to appropriatly create the drag and drop gameplay for the accessory matching. I feel that this will be the most challenging aspect of our game. Outside of that we are moving along smoothly!
